Hi, I’m Harry, and I’m the founder of DDIY. I’ve always been interested in how things work and started my demolition career early - picking apart boxes, toys, chairs, radios, lamps, anything that could be taken apart, was (as well as a few that really shouldn’t have been - according to mum). It gave me a decent understanding of how they work - and with time how to put them back together again. I’ve been doing up, odd jobbing and fixing stuff ever since. The pandemic gave me more time to hone my skills; a few of my latest achievements include repairing a 100-year-old sash window, designing and pouring a concrete worktop, as well as fitting a kitchen.
