Services

DDIY carry out all types of handyman jobs big or small for both residential and business customers.

Typically this is how we work together:

  • We’ll start with a quick call or email

  • If needed, set up a free visit (or video call) to determine your exact needs

  • Work out a quote and timeline for your project

Once we’ve agreed to proceed, a deposit may be needed before work starts.

Some of the things I do:

  • Carpentry

    • Erect, install and repair shelves, cabinets, desks, skirting boards, moulding and furniture.

  • Light electrical and plumbing work

    • Change/move/install sockets, switches and appliances, hang light fixtures, fix minor leaks and tune radiators

  • Odd jobs

    • Paint, patch plaster, fit new doors, locks and handles, change sash cords and window panes

Rates (New)

1st 30 minutes: £40

Subsequent half-hour: £25

Half-day: £175

Full-day: £290

The cost of material is excluded from these rates.

Terms

Half-day = 4 hours

Full-day = 8 hours
